Fit Tracker – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 April 2026

Fit Tracker ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal fitness tracking application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name via Google OAuth.
  • Body & profile data: Height, weight, date of birth, gender, and unit preferences that you enter voluntarily in the app.
  • Workout data: Exercise logs, set/rep/weight entries, workout duration, ratings, and notes that you enter in the app.
  • Custom exercises: Any exercises you add to the library.
  • AI analysis cache: Aggregated workout summaries sent to Google Gemini to generate fitness insights. These summaries contain workout statistics but no personally identifying information beyond what you entered.
  • Advertising identifiers: Google AdMob may collect your Android Advertising ID (AAID) and other device identifiers to serve personalised or contextual ads.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • App functionality: Displaying your workout history, calculating statistics on personal records and volume, and syncing data across devices.
  • AI-powered insights: Workout summaries are sent to the Google Gemini API to generate personalised fitness analysis. Results are cached in our database to avoid redundant API calls.
  • Advertising: We display banner and rewarded ads via Google AdMob to support the free app. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to serve ads relevant to your interests.

3. Data Storage

All personal and workout data is stored securely in Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database platform hosted in the EU (Ireland) region. Row-level security ensures each user can only access their own data. AI analysis results are cached in the same database.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared with third-party services solely for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Google LLC — Sign-in (Google OAuth), AI analysis (Google Gemini API), and advertising (Google AdMob).
  • Supabase Inc. — Database and authentication infrastructure.

5. Advertising & Google AdMob

Fit Tracker uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process the following data to serve ads:

  • Android Advertising ID (AAID)
  • IP address (for approximate location)
  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)

This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Advertising Policies. To opt out of interest-based advertising, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation on your Android device, or visit adssettings.google.com.

Ads are rated suitable for ages 13 and above.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you would like your account and all associated data deleted, you can request deletion using the link below or by emailing us directly. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Request account deletion: https://killerclick.com/delete-account

What will be deleted

  • Workout logs and workout history
  • User profile (display name, height, weight, DOB, gender, unit preferences)
  • Custom exercises you created
  • AI analysis cache (aggregated workout summaries)

Retention & exceptions: Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We may retain anonymised or aggregated data for analytics or legal compliance; such retained data cannot be used to identify you.

To request deletion via email: send an email to hello@killerclick.com including the email address associated with your account and the phrase "Delete my Fit Tracker account".

7. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections. Our database enforces row-level security policies so no user can access another user’s data, even if using the same API credentials.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Children

Fit Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
